RC 87. My Memory Having RC Car. My no58 RC. KYOSHO GP10 1/10 Nitro @ FW02 1994.

28/10/2024, Happy buy another old secondhand RC for Rm200 from kepong KL. Is a 1994 KYOSHO GP10 1/10 Nitro or call FW02. Saller say is a working RC only no fuel tank and uncomplete exhaust. He sale for Rm350 ask to reduce to Rm200 after he see my RC collection in blogger, Serious buyer.

Fault Found after receiving 
1. All 4 rubber tyre damage inside camber too negative.
2. All 4 suspention pin rusty, movement hard.
3. All wheels hub using copper bushing
4. Axle case using copper bushing
5. All dogbone rusty
6. All wheels hub with dirty oil lubricant for copper bushing.
7. All damper low oil 
8. Both center proppeler shaft rusty 
9. Caburetor 2 body screw hard to remove 
10. Caburetor plunger tread damage.
11. Dirty and damage rim
12. Exhaust missing half parts due to center screw broken. 
13. Engine and cab can't turn jem.
14. Engine flywheel lock screw loose, no free play on washer.
15. Exhaust missing air return nipple 
16. Engine piston liner hard to remove
17. Front proppeler shaft holder using longer allen screw.
18. No fuel tank but given HSP tank
19. No air filter
20. No assembly manual can't get in Internet.
21. No body cover 
22. No Remort system
23. No bumper form
24. No body post 4 pcs
25. No battery holder
26. No greese on both axle gear
27. Pull star string to long shorten by tight 3 knob.
28. Pull start one way bearing stuck
29. Rusty turn buckle
30. Rusty few screw
31. Rear lhs/rhs suspension arm wrong fitted. 
32. Rear damper wrongly fitted ori face inside.
33. Steering tie rod end bend 1 pcs
34. Sand inside engine pull start 
35. Sand and oil mixed on chassis 
36. Steering center tightening beam wrongly fitted upside-down.
37. Two speed gear bearing rusty hard to remove.
38. The C hub wrongly fitted, Lhs fix at rhs/Rhs fix at lhs. 
39. Wheel shaft hub rusty.
40. Wheel nut super tighten 

After observations, found out this rc buy new, play for few time engine problem try to fix back then play, until try remove the exhaust broke the screw, leave it only keep clean for display. The worst is the engine never add after run oil leave the engine un attand with dry slug and rust for many many years. For the Chassis, bumper, suspension housing look new fine scratch. The second gear center lock still in good shape. I got another partly play with good condition RC. This previous owner not a real fan of RC no upgaraded parts is fix.
I will upgrade some parts all the copper bushing to ballbearing, New fuel tank, change the exhaust, add body post, new body, New Bumper Form, New Servo, Fuel filter, Fuel Tank Air Cooler. Not going to race this rc, parts can't get in Malaysia. For  display Vintage. No assembly manual but from a rc guy say, use 1993 Kyosho Inferno 10 4WD buggy 70% parts same.

Ori kyosho Fuel tank with a red cap missing, but given a HSP fuel tank.

How to turn the piston

One way bearing hard to remove.

WD40 remove the liner and Piston

Manage to remove the screen rusty inside crankshaft 

WD40 to soften the slug in liner

Using a Aluminium corn shape wheel hex

The C hub and steering hub wrongly fitted lhs fix at rhs / rhs to lhs

After soak in WD40 finaly the bearing can remove.

I change the Philip head screw to allen head.

Sanwa servo connector to other receiver is diffrent, so i change both servo using Tower pro. Don't want to modified.
Sanwa servo line the red in 3. Ori other servo center.

Straighten up the acc and brake linkage 

Just use a Am receiver to make as show

Started, the engine run good, happy get another life vintage engine.
Start the engine 2 time pull started. 

Let it run for 1 minutes

Finish the service and cleaning, parts upgrade, Full Ballbearing, New Fuel tank, New Servo, Fuel Filter, Exhaust Air Cooler, Tune pipe, Bumper Form. The body cover later.
