RC72. My memory Having RC Car. My no 47 RC. HSP Sonic 1/10 nitro 94102 2000.

26/1/2023, This my 47 units RC. see another just add in a Rc in Facebook sale, very cheap Rm70 a guy from Sri Serdang Raya Selangor. Condition very dirty, many rusty screw and parts. No body and remote. Look like is been in stor for century. But I love it. Stright contack and meet up.

There is 3 type.

1. HSP Sonic NITRO 1/10 CAR 94102 year 2000 double speed small radio box.

2. HSP Pacesetter 94101 is single speed/longer radio box 2000.

3. HSP XSTR 94122 2004 new suspension arm, longer radio box.

COD in his area same days. Home i slowly remove parts found all top screw hard to open look like new never open, but front/rear axle case been open screw little loose and inside axle gear with dark greese mean open before to add greese. Engine same open before, some missing screw and not fully tighten. Saw some parts on engine missing and wrong fitted piston rod.

Problem found

1. Fully dirty with spider Web

2. Engine jam up can't turn

3. Missing acc servo arm

4. Carburetor jem up

5. Missing carburetor acc rod.

6. Rhs front adjustable linkages didn't intall to ball end rusty

7. Fuel tank with oil after nitro fuel vapors dry.

8. All adjustable linkages rusty

9. All top screw rusty.

10. Damper spring rusty all 4 pcs

11. Rear body post using screw to hold the body cover.

12. No body

13. No remote

14. All suspension hard to move up/down

15. All ball end rusty.

16. No ball bearing on all wheels.

17. All wheels screw hard to open.

18. No air filter

19. 2004 battery for receiver didn't remove.

20. Rusty Proppeler shaft

21. Brake linkages rusty.

22. Steering set using coper bushing

23. Engine Mounting 1 screw hard to remove.

24. Steering arm screw hard to open

25. All wheels using plastic hex

26. Glow plug no copper o ring

27. Caburettor o ring missing using white tape.

28. Missing 2 screw on pull start

29. Damper no oil leak, add few drop only.

30. Acc servo copper bushing stuck rusty hard to remove.

31. Engine piston rod wrongly fitted

32. All suspension arm no allen screw to adjust high.

33. 3 tyre rubber crack, re super glue not going to run this rc.

All damper spring rusty

Missing carburetor push rod and servo horn.

No fuel filter or air cooler fitted.

E 6001 steering servo is original.

Chassis bottom lest scratch mean not much playing after buy.

Rubber tyre still soft

2T in tank after nitro fuel vapor dry.

Using Screw as body hight not pin.

The VX18 engine

Rust on Proppeler shaft

Receive battery didn't remove

With a 2.4 receiver

One Screw stuck engine mounting

Screw hard to remove rusty

The 2 speed gear ok

All wheels no ball bearing

Use plastic wheel hex

Copper bushing on steering arm

All wheels screw really hard to open even after spray wd40.

Use copper bushing

Rear suspension

With dark greese

Add greese

The 2 speed gear remove

This is VX18 engine. Stuck spray WD40 then slowly turn flywheel it move, the compression still good, open cyclinder head inside piston very clean even the crankshaft no slug. But some thing look not fitted proppely the piston rod with grove facing outside the smooth surface inside. If look at the piston on TDC from exhaust port can see a hole in piston. Need to study it. The caburettor missing rubber o ring it use white tape seal it. Glow plug filemen still good only missing coper o ring. Pull start missing 2 screw. This engine have been open. May be can't start this rc been keep a side.

VX18 size, look at exhaust port piston in TDC can see the hole mean lose compression, need to study it wrong fitted or original position

When piston in TDC can see a hole on piston mean air will leak out.

I try to turn the smooth surface facing outside.

The piston on TDC hole no more, mean mixture fully compress.

Glow plug ok

Missing coper o ring

Crankshaft clean

Missing rubber o ring, using white tape.

All remove after stuck, spray WD40. The cab plunger full of slug.

Pull start missing 2 screw

Piston very clean

Very clean no slug

Oil in all damper is clean i just add few drop.

With the rusty spring and ball end

Open up the acc servo

Stuck copper bushing

All parts remove

Some parts soak in detergent

Aluminium aloy parts. (BLUE) will add when cheap sale

1. Chassis

2. Front and rear suspension arm brace.

3. Fuel filter

4. Wheel hex 5mm

5. Front lower suspention arm

6. Rear lower suspention arm

7. Rear wheel hub

8. Front c hub

9. Front steering hub

10. Shock absober top cover

11. Air pressure coole

12. Steering adjustable linkage.

All damper is clean and add oil

Total body clean

Clutch still new

Fix back and put after run oil on moving parts. later eazy start.

Add 2 more screw

At the intake fuel needle housing i file a grove whare to show the needle in fully close position.

The paint came off

After all engine parts fitted, i put this engine on my clone FW05, the piston rod positions same as previous, can't start try many time, just a small crank then died. Then remove head and pull start, i turn the piston rod smooth surface facing outside, fix back and restart, wa la one pull it start yes got another working engine.
