RC79. My Memory Having RC Car. My no 45 RC. HBX Post 5 2006. (Clone Tamiya TL01)

Saw this units with dirty body in Facebook sale. Saller from sentul KL, Price Rm200, a Clone Tamiya TL01 from HBX. Serching internat many people buy it event from europe country, they say no much diffrent from original Tamiya TL01, Year 2006. But after i check only front bumper clone with foam. Parts is a problem in Malaysia.
I asking for Rm100 without electronic, he agreed no motor and ESC. Is an vintage RC clone from China. Then he say with shock tower broken front and rear so i ask for reduce Rm90 and without body. Sole to me.

The HBX Post 5 2006 (Clone Tamiya TL01)

Original Tamiya TL01, this the famoust Chassis. Can be on road, buggy or Truck using same chassis.

With broken front shock tower

Fault found
1. Front lhs shock tower broken
2. Rear lhs shock tower broken
3. No motor
4. No ESC
5. No body
6. Front lhs suspension arm broken
7. Steering servo no tighten using card board to hold it. Missing servo bracket.
8. Rusty spring
9. Rusty some screw 
10. Missing one pcs battery stoper
11. One side wing missing 
12. All wheels loose not fully tighten
13. All wheels no ballbearing
14. The rear drive gear greese mix with dirt.
15. Broken screw seat on rear housing
16. Few suspension arm screw rusty
17. No ball bearing use in front/rear axle.
18. Using plastic hex. Overtighten, wheel will not turn
19. Not oil damper
20. Tyre become harden.
21. Steering push rod using wrong screw and loose.
22. Servo arm wrong parts.
23. All tyre no glue on rim
24. No sponge in tyre

Got it on 10/12/2022. Car with my runner 
In my hand on 29/12/2022. In bad Condition, look like the plastic eazy broken too long. Found few parts missing the battery holder one pcs, motor bottom wing missing, rusty screw, spring, not oil damper, all wheels not tighten, no ball bearing on wheel, the tyre become hard rubber, steering servo no tighten only stuck with paper hard bord. Front suspension arm holder bracket broken he didn't mention.
Using ori Tamiya TL01 assembly manual for this clone, almost same

Soak in detergent 

Total clean up axle case. 

All parts clean from oil and dust

The broken parts i super glue back and i use steel glue to wrap it. For the broken shock stay a build back the shape with steel glue and after dry i will drill a hold and tap it. 

Will file to smooth surface 


Done, repaint black

Put in new greese 


Waiting for ball bearing order from china, then will assembly back all parts. Reach 17/1/2023 set for tamiya Rm14.50.
