RC68. My Memory Having RC CAR. My No 37 units, 2010 HY Mantex II

This time another reassemble a really scrap RC, is a 2010 HY Mantex II made in China @ Clone XRay T2 2009. Buying mosly loose parts plastick and aluminium alloy around Rm50++ only. T2 2007 the center diff and radio tray different, but T2 2009 almost same as Mantex. Mostly that year when some New famoust RC come out in the market, next few month China RC came out clone units. HL,VANTEX and MANTEX ALL CLONE TAMIYA AND XRA Y. Have no idea this car look like in begining. From 2020 to 2021, I have plenty of HY parts from Vantex, Mantex, HL that i buy loose in nilai 3 all parts mix up, partly new, use parts that customer change or partly damage. Another bunch of HY aluminium alloy parts buy cheap and new in 2018 in bundle at rasah rc shop.

This time i use the XRay T2 2007 as maint referent manual for this project and few from T2 2009.

All plastic parts mixed up, piece by piece test the screw hold. Can't get full completed parts, then must use the aluminium alloy parts in blue colour. slowly assemble it. Mantex II not that famous like ventex. Not much information in internat or U tube. This the second model after vantex.

This my no 37 units, will do it slowly. Many parts i didn't have, steering set, drive gear, ball beering, See what the progress until end, parts still can get in few shop, but not many in lazada and shoopie. This rc is the last driff model before end production. No more new car, know new from HSP.

The new aluminium alloy parts, for HY mantex/vantex. Buy in 2018 in big 4 bundle rc parts. HY bundle only Rm18.75 ÷ 12 item = Rm 1.60. Dam cheep.

Below all the use/new parts from HY vantex/ Mantex / HL, i grab during rc parts hunting in nilai 3 on 2020 to 2021

First assembly from 12am to 3am on 17/9/2021. Must take to match the length hight, big, small. Vantex parts can't use in mantex.

This chassis from customer that change to carbon fiber. No scratch.

the damper is secondhand rework

Complete rhs front suspension first, all the gaping need bushing will adjust later.

Secondhand front drive gear, UJ, time been no ball bearing is use in steering hub.

Continue in the evening 5pm to 8pm same day.

This the motor drive gear, got the adapter another 3 item need to buy gear bracket, ballbearing and bearing mounting

Today 18/9/2021 do some changes, adjustment and add few more parts

Bumper sponge from other brand, add body stoper.

Change the new aluminium C hub and use a secondhand knuckle tread almost wornup.

This battery holder is for HY mantex but i fix at my HL518. Modified other for my HL518.

Fix the steering adjustable rod. Only the steering set not fitted need to buy soon

Put a brush motor

20/9/2021. Some one from paroi Negeri Sembilan want to sale his scrap HY mantex. From photo many parts is been dismental the parts i need is thare, last prices Rm80 and 2 use body. Just buy it soon will redo this units. Some original parts is transfer to my buil by scrap mantex.

Dirty with dust play set

Yes at last got the steering set, difficult to buy.

The center transmission i try up the two type, the blue i already order the drive gear bracket and ballbearing 4x11x4. the pulley i have 2 set.

Second the maroon colour is the one that use in mantex but i didn't have the pulley, i DIY using a big pulley from Thunder Tiger. Original the bearing is smaller and a plastic bushing is use but i use bigger bearing can fit in tightly.

Top blue center transmission parts still order. Try up the DIY ori center transmission.

The pulley from thunder tiger is wider, it fitted just nicely. Almost touching at the radio tray.

The drive pulley can fit in but is wider, there a side pulley cover but if fitted, can't fix in. Side bearing is bigger will not came out stop by the radio plate ori smaller bearing with a bushing.

For this mantex i am not going to race just redo test up and display. I fitted with kyosho perfex brush ESC and 2.4 flysky receiver. After all fitted in all wheel turn, steering function. Almost done.

21/9/2021 receive the parts Drive transmission bracket and bearing 4x11x4. Try up can fit in but the 4 edge touching to the radio tray, this not for mantex but for vantex.

All 4 edge touching radio tray. So use back the first set.will look for the smaller gear.

At last done only few more small item willl fit later. ESC, brush motor, 2.4 receiver all parts in and in running condition. From scratch parts to a running RC car. Another vintage collections.
