17/2/2021 ya huuu i buy another use units RC from seremban, buy for only Rm100. Today see this advertising in Facebook, a new saler, he sale for Rm100 condition no electrical parts, front bumper. Look like HY vantex, mantex or HL. When China came out few cheep clone from Tamiya, X Ray or kyosho RC in 2008, I am not interested to own it, because low quality every time look at them play always parts loose or break. Mostly for drifting. That year onwards every player buy RM300++, talk and modified. Other branded RC is expensive. This time, it sale cheap then i started to own it, is a nostalgia RC.
Meet up in Myidin Mall and have some conversation about this rc. Go back slowly investigate, this product from Heng Long or HL518 driff 2012. Made In China. Is a clone Tamiya TRF416
This my 33 units RC own. Same concept not going to run it, only for collection. Parts still can buy in nilai 3 rc shop or lazada not many.

Found few fault in this units.
1. No battery holder
2. The motor mount missing
3. Top motor mount bracket missing
4. Missing 1 pcs ball bearing for main gear
5. Maint gear worn off.
6. Center belt tensioner bearing missing
7. Rhs rear wheel hub damage.
8. Dirty with sand after parts remove
9. Shock absorber oil dirty, smell like engine oil.
10. Front bumper and form missing
11. Chassis bottom scratch not heavy
12. No electrical parts
13. Main gear with a heavy rusty clip
14. Axle drive shaft seat damage
15. No front body post
16. No battery holder post
17. Rear diff axle ball bearing 3 pcs wrong fitted
18. Front axle holder bracket rhs wrong parts, tamiya 416.
19. 3 pcs front suspension rod ball end using plastic, Ori metal.
20. Few pcs linkages plastic ball end cup damage

Next is after clean and assembly. No assembly manual when fix the parts in. If not sure just from photo i snap. Luckly when i buy the loose parts in nilai 3 some time i got many type of rc parts. Xray T3 2011 assembly manual as reference almost same.

8/3/2021 2 parts reach the front bumper and motor mount after waiting for 3 week, problem from pos lost my thing, but found it.

| Only this plate i found, it from HY. Original is plastic with A HL logo at center. Not match then end hole i make it bigger. |

| DiY a bracket to hole the ball bearing, can't find it at rc shop in nilai. At end i bent the bracket so that the bearing won't come out. |

| Put in the LRP esc and using back the kyosho brush motor. Test all runing good. |

Done all, all parts in good condition, another famous driff collection on that era. The body i use the damage Honda.
To make it classics look where brush motor been use. I change the receiver to original HL Am , ESC same but this esc have forward no reverse, motor brush and ori heatsink. Another modification is the rear belt, i add a tension post.
