This 2 month, every two days i will do my treasure hunting for my small daicast car in JJJ in seremban. JJJ is a shop sale all use and new japan product in Malaysia from toys, household, sport, cloth, ect, that people in Japan don't want anymore. So this company will buy cheap from all over Japan and sale it in Malaysia. prices some is cheaper example Power ranger toy is original prices from Rm20 to 100.
Me for sure hunting down RC car. Saw this RC Jeep wrangler 1/12 scale, nice and i turn the front wheels opppsss it very soft like the steering using servo. Normal RC toy grade when u turn the wheel it will go back center. I check the product name couldn't found. It course Rm80 plus with remote. For me too expensive. After few weeks again another same Jeep wrangler is been display prices RM80 no remort. I still waiting for the price drop. On 9/8/2018 morning went treasure hunt my small daicast car again i check this two RC with remote still RM80 then take a look at another units the prices drop RM30. OK this time i will buy it, but before buying i check againt the company of this product from top to bottom waaala finaly see the Tamiya logo and the words QD. Just grab this one without remote, when do checking under the battery compartment saw the AM receiver chip yes this is a hobby grad RC and with AM freaquency 27.
Then do some research found the brand name. TAMIYA 1/12 QUICK DRIVE JEEP WRANGLER 46017, I thing this from 1994 model, l check the 1993 Tamiya booklet this Jeep is in blue colour started 1994 red. Happy get another good RC product from Japan. Another units with price tag RM80, i will wait till the prices drop. Do research, they say this is a toy grad RC no modified parts, but after i remove all the parts, all 4 whell plastic bushing can change to ball bearing. If really want to modified we can remove the ori circute board and change using ESC, 2.4 receiver and remote. The motor seat can't do much, small still can move.
Today 11/8/2018 again to JJJ Some one buy the Tamiya QD with price tag Rm80 with remote. But that remote not the ori type. But anyway i happy for that person buy a good product. On eye at all the RC car in JJJ, if found good RC i will grab it..

For the tyre, one crack little bit and another the wall out side crack. Another 2 pcs no problem. Tamiya have sale this QD tyre but in Malaysia need to order or buy on line. So just redo back . What i didt i buy the rubber glue for shoe and inside the tyre i apply all the surface, when the rubber glue is dry it will harden and as protect the tyre rubber. For the crack tyre wall i will attach the tube seal on all round the tyre. Last add sponge inside before put in the rim.

After install all the electrical componemt and try up all function steering and motor. I am using my Am futaba remort but problem when turn the steering on remort the car will go forward or reverse and press the trotter forward the car will turn rhs or rhs. To solve this problem i am using another remote only interchange the both wire inside. final can be use.
Last still repair the tyre need to let the glue dry and re apply another layer of rubber glue.

All the rubber glue inside the the tyre fully dry and stickey. I buy sponge and stuff it inside the tyre so that the tyre wall will not too soft.

| Huray know can drive like normal remote. Only the battery i use a 7.2v long battery just to try up. don't want buy the flat 8 battery, not playing with this RC. |
On 12/10/2018 i found a second hand Radio control system, Tamiya Expec SP TTU-03 in a box without the servo, Receivers, ESC, Battery and charger. For only Rm40. Go back and try up it function but same problem the steering control the forward and backward and Throttle control left and right. So i just interchange the wire same as my first modification. Now a match all Tamiya brand.

Done another collection no 23 of my RC. Non stop looking for cheap and dirty RC to collect. That fun playing with RC can modified and drive on or off road. HAVE FUN WITH RC.
