RC30. My Memory Having RC Car. Battery Charger

On 2/08/2012 i went to my friend RC shop just to relax and talk about RC product with him. My friend suddenly give me a Old Kyosho Ni-mh battery charger for free. Is a 6V-1200mAh / 7.2V-1200mAh. 5N/6N-1200 Super Ni-Cd Battery Convertible Quick Charger parts no 2207. He keep it in the cabinet for so long and never use for quiet long time. Made in Japan, Looks funny is a in car charger and have 15 Minit timer that need to turn the knob. It can charge 2 battery in one time from Car, Supply can direct from Car Battery or Cigarette lighter socket. It can charge until 1200 mAh battery only. Try it to charge battery this charger still function. Have a switch to change to charge 6V or 7.2V

I do some modifications on this charger, add a DC 12v fan underneath, to cool down the circuit board when charging a battery. The supply i take from the supply outlet with 13v current and add a fan switch at side.
Add a fan at bottom at the ventilation fin. Cut away few fin so that more air will enter inside. The edge of the fan i cable strip. The switch glue at side.

Use a small switch, glue at side.

Then glue a rubber stand at each corner make higher, if not the fan touch the ground. 

The fan wire i solder at the +/- power supply jet.

On 9/4/2020 remove and clean dust inside. 

The circuit. Polish the LCD and dust.

To Charge more then 8 Hour, some time i use the slow charge. A AC/DC Adaptor Made in China only Rm 8 - 10. Just leave it over night the Battery will have Full Charge.
Input : AC 220V 50Hz
Output: DC 12V 250MA

At all 4 side i drill 2 hole as ventilation. After 5 hour charge the charger is hot.



This the same charger for battery. Only change thr charging point. This for glow starter.


If i buy new soon will be add in. Happy and enjoy RC.

Below is my 2024 Rc Hobby Shop in Malaysia. Looking at the Malaysia RC Web side still there is no one have a full detail of the RC hobby shop in Malaysia. RC36. My Memory Having RC Car. My No 16 RC. 1/10 - 1996 Kyosho Spider TF2

Again this is my second  hand and no 4 Electric RC, is from KYOSHO. I buy from a Saler in Mudah.com. From Seremban Just for RM100 KYOSHO TF2 1996. Condition 80%,  Problem found 1. Missing lhs front knuckle arm,  2. Missing front shaft, 3. Missing wheel adapter, 4. Broken rhs axle body mount, 5. Front carbon chassis crack .  6. No servo 7. No ESC 8. Broken battery lock plastic 9. No motor 10. Front and rear gear no greese 11. No body cover 12. Dusty 13. No Wheels 14. Bottom chassis scratch ( Normal for secondhand RC) 15. With oil shock absober (Option) 16. With front and rear stabelizer bar (Option) 17. With turn buckle (Option) 18.
