Made in China (🇨🇳).
This HSP Brontosorous is well know all other country. I found out other brand same as this Brontosaurus, is from REDCAT RACING with their Volcano. There some cosmatic change the body, wheel and front rear bumper. Below volcano S30 miner change but for volcano EXC is same as brontosaurus only different body.
Before i buy this new i always look for cheap second hand Bronto but most saler sale Rm500 to Rm600 due to up grade parts. After buying, go back and study the weeknest on this car. I found out few
1. The shock tower is soft and also all the lower arm.
2. The dog bone too many free play. There is no rubber o ring to reduce knocking sound.
3. The wheel hub using plastic if tighten the wheel hard, wheel will not turn.
4. The front lower arm lhs and rhs too many freeplay.
5. The main chassis soft plastic, when tighten the screw hard the will a deap press mark on the plastic.
6. No ball bearing use in wheels. Only front and rear gear box.
7. The body hole not aline for back hole.
8. There is no hand grip to carry the truck, must carry the truck on the front or rear bumper.
9. The main gear is plastic, i heard from most player it eazy worn off.
10. The instruction manual not very detail.
11. The center shaft also didn't add a rubber at each end so knocking sound.
Below is after looking into some problem i star to remodified, ractified and change some option parts. The gear box i remove and add more grease, ori grease become harden.This model are RTR, the instruction did't show parts assembly only over view. I slowly dismental some parts and study it. Not all parts i will change to aluminium, if every parts is alum when involve in jumping or over turn the parts can break eazy. Some parts need maintain plastick like suspention arm so it can absorbe the impack by twisting the plastick parts. For my truck i use blue and black part .
The last is the tools box just for this Truck. More extra parts need to buy for extra. Same as my other RC car.
On 17/3/2018 order from china, Aluminium front and rear steering hub for Rm48.70 more cheaper then RC shop. Blue colour. Waiting 3 week from LAZADA.
On 17/9/2020 i get the front aluminium suspension arm 108019 blue first. Buy from china lazada Rm15.00.
At that time i have 2 option for HSP brand the Buggy or truck. Both same prices RM450. Go back and think and study both car, finaly i buy the truck, because buggy i own 4 units but 1/10 truck didn't have. Then add Rm180 for options parts the aluminium steering set, front and rear shock tower, wheel hex 29mm, wheel hex 4mm and the ion main gear.
Other parts order from lazada is the front/ rear aluminium knuckle and front c hub for another Rm120. All come to Rm300 option parts time been.

Below is after looking into some problem i star to remodified, ractified and change some option parts. | I modified a cover at front bumper. Some time when i put in the body cover i miss fix, back and rear because the front and rear bumper and tower is same, need to look at the steering location. So to solve this problem i add a cover from HPI 1/8 buggy. |

On 17/3/2018 order from china, Aluminium front and rear steering hub for Rm48.70 more cheaper then RC shop. Blue colour. Waiting 3 week from LAZADA.
Make a decision want to change all parts to aluminium that recomended from HSP. Not to drive fast just to show what the difference. I have another 2 secondhand units brontosaurus that not fully aluminium can use for run/jump. Colour all blue.
After install new parts last do wheel alaiment, only camber can be adjust front and rear. Toe only front, but the rules too short, so just adjust on the turn buckle both measure to same length and the wheel should toe in 1 or 2 degree.
Change the servo from 3.4kg Hsp E6001 to 11kg MG996R.

After install new parts last do wheel alaiment, only camber can be adjust front and rear. Toe only front, but the rules too short, so just adjust on the turn buckle both measure to same length and the wheel should toe in 1 or 2 degree.

On 4/5/2018 Add another pcs adjustable linkage front and rear hub to make it two. More stronger to hold the hub.
Change front and rear axle mounting from plastic to aluminium. The side mounting for holding the pin easily break. If break i need to open every component especially rear gear box, so if change to aluminium only the plastic suspension arm break easily to remove. Parts reach on 7/6/2020 from china buy for Rm23.

Aluminium parts need to change if money enough
1. All the adjustable rod.

3. Gear box.
4. Battery stopper.
5. Body post.
6. Servo bracket.
Another 2 item i change to aluminium. Rear suspension arm and battery side bracket. Buy for Rm55 + post. Order a week reach 31/10/2020. Now another 2 item left the chassis and servo holder.

The lasted weight for this brontosaurus is 2.475kg 2/10/2021 after 100% fully upgrade aluminium alloy parts from original +/- 2.250kg (No battery)

| On the battery location i put a black flip to protect the battery, no metal to metal contacts. |

On 19/1/2021, order another 3 parts, Blue hex wheels extension, blue suspension and steering linkages and blue shock absober. The hex extention i change to 20mm long, shorten then the silver. All linkages change, more stronger then the original plastic end. For suspension i fix one pcs, before i add 2 each side. Problem for the shock absorber order for brontosaurus come Crawler 1/12 size. Need to reoder with other company.

18/2/2021 the first set 2pcs aluminium damper got it. Buy from Johor Bahru for Rm29. left another set order from kepong KL. Both shop out of blue stock. Order from China 2 time, get wrong parts advertising for 94111 hsp truck. I fix at front, came damper without oil.

| Fix to rear. One units problem leaking heavy on bottom 0 ring only 2 pcs. Add two more new o ring now 4 close the bottom cap compress to stop leak. |

20/8/2021 i rematch another brontosuraus body. This body have gold strip on body to match the gokd rim and dark blue base body with chassis. This body is nicer then the original flat surface, from roof to back with body wave and have wheel arch. Also have front and rear bumper pop out.

Always find in lazada or shoopee from 2018 at last on 31/8/2021 this aluminium Antenna mount sale, from china only 3 companies sale. The first sale for rm12.83, second rm29.53 last rm55. In malaysia sale for rm100++. Order 2 set blue/purple.
Found another aluminium parts the motor mount Rm8.10 after discount next will order. (GOT IT ON 2/10/2021)
14/9/2021 i got the parts Rm13.01 1 pair. I buy 2 pair blue/purple.
The last option aluminium alloy parts for brontosaurus 94111 got it motor mounting Rm8.10.
9/7/2022 saw this pinion gear box aluminium cover from china bought 2 for Rm32. Will buy aluminium new parts if HSP come out new product.
28/9/2023 i reorder front lower suspention arm blue that same patent with rear. Rm26.90

Finaly 100% option parts for this HSP Brontosaurus fitted. The parts have no aluminium alloy is = Gear cover, Battery holder, front bumper and switch mounting.
Front i use UJ drive shaft
27/11/2023 rear bumper i remove replace with blue aluminium alloy anti-squat plate
18/12/2024 found sale the aluminium alloy servo nut washer. 4pcs Rm4.53
26/4/2025 I add in a blue receiver waterproof case.
