In 8/1/2012 a trip in Negeri sembilan for fishing, that is Sungai Timun Rembau. It take me 45 minit from Mambau-Linggi-Sg Timun. Hear about this location this river have a lot of big giant freshwater Prawn with two long blue-green clowed (Macrobrachium Rosenbergii). This is my first time there, is a fisherman jetty. But acording to local, to catch prawn we need to rent boat to go down along the river so the chances to catch prawn is big, if on the jetty chances is small. The renting a boat for 4 person around RM150 - Rm 200. On the jetty we can catch Baung fish (Eurynaline) but small. A kilo of prawn sale for RM65 from the village people. The accommodation like Food stall, toilet, room (RM50 per night), surau, parking lot is provided. If u didn't catch any fish you can buy it from the fisherman when they return. Baung fish is cheap Rm10 -RM30 only. To catch prawn in Sg Timun, do not come when seremban is raining because the water become muddy and water is cold. Prawn not active in this water condition, most of the time they will stay at their nest. Be careful when fishing along this river, there a crocodile in the river.
