Few month back i manage to get a lot of damage fishing reel from Sunday market in Seremban, i bought it cheap all together until today i buy for only RM18. Some of the damage in drive gear, bail lever, body, Some cap,Bearing,Rotor and etc. Look at the damage reel most if it is lack of maintenance. some i found sand inside the gear or using car grease to lubricate moving parts.

the recon reel some i repaint and total 100% services. The damage parts
i replaces from other reel. Some without bearing only using bushing, i
add in bearing or some parts i buy in Tackle shop.
One of the most important to have long life reel is a proper maintenance after use especially after fishing in sea water. The salt water will effect the body and the bearing. Must use proper lubricant.

On 24/7/2011 a bought another 2 second hand reel RM6,
but this two is really badly damage. One is DAM QUICK SE130 and a Red
color reel no name with 3 ball bearing. The DAM Reel Body badly damage
due to heavy impact and the Red reel just broken body and some rotor due
to sand inside the gear. After remove all, some of the parts still can
be use. Usable parts that i always find is bearing, some of my reel with
one bearing become 3 ball bearing.

In November again i bought 3 damage reel for RM10 - Shimano Sahara 1000F, Golden JY100 and Teben TF100. Same problem all parts inside rusty and component stuck with hard grease. I manage to recons two in a working condition (Shimano and Golden). The Teben, the o s slider is damage so need to find parts to replace it. The shimano the drive gear missing, so i replace it with other brand drive gear and the end result i increase the gear ratio From 6.2:1 to 6.11:1

Again 7/4/2013, I buy another 3 broken reel from the secondhand market just for RM10. The first is OFMER CELINE 3000 only the problem the Anti Reverse Lever broken, spool turn reverse (One Parts Fitted wrongly) .

One More Reel is been bought on 14/4/2013 only RM3. Made in China Yong Chang brand DF4000. The problem with this reel no spool, Handle broken (super glue back) and too tight turning (due to Drive Gear lhs and rhs arm too big, manage to grind the arm and fit in with ball bearing). After open up, all parts is OK, still using hard grease.

On 6/04/2014 again i buy another second hand reel DAM QUICK SE140 RM15. Condition Damage return bail arm lever, Rear drag fully tighten, Line Clip damage. After change the trip arm, change the drag disc, replace line clip. add 2 more ball bearing and total clean up it still can be use.
