5/11/2022 found another vintage RC CEN TR4 4WD Nitro year 2003 RTR. The car look terrible dirty keep for long time after play . Come with electronic device and Remote. The saller sale 3 rc for 550 + some parts. From his collection first RC is HL sprint clone Kyosho FW05, second CEN CT5, last is CEN TR4. I asking only the TR4 for Rm150. Serching this RC information not many in website. No assembly manual in pdf, found only overview as reference. Spareparts not sale anymore in Malaysia.

7/11/2022 got it, not with me yet with my runner.

The remort and extra parts

 In my hand 1/12/2022. When i look at it wooo terribly Condition because this car has been keep for 5 years un service. My second tough first RC rework because some ballbearing heavy rusted can't turn and remove. Full of sand and dirt, Engine can't turn after spray WD ok. All the electrical wire broken. Steering can't turn rust on shaft, the drive gear hard to turn, all screw hard to open not because rusty but never open before, buy new never service.

Fault Found

1. No body

2. Filty dirty with sand, dust and rusty, 5 year didn't service just put in stor.

3. All screw rusty.

4. Bumper form torn due to rat bite.

5. Steering can't turn.

6. Exhaust full of coroded white dust.

7. Exhaust manifold didn't tighten.

8. No engine pull start

9. Radio tray corroded.

10. No ballbearing on all wheels.

11. All wheels using plastic Hex 3 without pin.

12. Fuel tank outlet pumping rubber torn

13. Using 26.995 hz.

14. Engine body corroded.

15. Glow plug rusty.

16. Caburetor jem, all the adjusment needle can't turn.

17. No Side belt tensioner bearing.

18. All suspension hard to operate.

19. Acc rod rusty.

20. Battery for receiver not remove asid leak.

21. All wire broken into pieces 

22. Ball end cup damage lhs Steering.

23. Lhs steering arm bending

24. All shock absorber no leaking.

25. Fuel tank lid hard to open rusty spring.

26. Under chassis heavy scratch.

27. Engine CEN 16 jem up

28. Using Ofna Hyper 10 tune pipe, ori damage given.

29. 3 pcs moving gear with ballbearing rusty hard to turn and remove.

30. Center shaft rusty.

31. All dogbone rusty and jemup with axle cup

32. Greese almost dry in axle case.

33. Front/rear axle no ballbearing use. 

34. The fuel line crack when remove

36. The engine drive bell rusty and can't remove screw.

37. Given the cen remote no battery holder, cover and terminal corroded.

38. Given a Electric parts don't know for what use.

39. Given the loose pull start not complete.

CEN Am receiver 

Caburetor corroded and all adjusment needle jem up

Cab plunger can't move. Spray with WD to loosen up.

2 speed gear ok

Rusted on all adjustable rod. steering can't turn 

All spring rusty

Driff wheels not a ready made, buy the outer set and glue on a wheels

With rear stabilizer bar, all suspension arm no broken or damage

Steering knuckle hard to turn rusty screw

Start remove parts and investigate the damage or faulty parts.

The 2 post hard to open

The dogbone tighten with cable strip 

The spacer put full mean no oil inside maybe.

This a tune pipe from Ofna Hyper 10 FEMCA 1001.

Steering servo can't turn all turn buckle hard to operate due to ball end rusty.

CEN NT16 engine

No pull start

The filemen still white, test still ok.

Engine jemup use WD spray inside and slowly turn the flywheel, ok look like the compression still good

After removing the steering servo found steering jem up not servo

Ballbearing total rusty

The front gear is hard to turn 

Remove rear axle can't remove the shaft stuck ballbearing. 

Center shaft ballbearing hard to remove i broke it. To remove i grind the ballbearing inner core.

Grind the ballbearing inner core 

All the wheel carrier hard no gress on screw and shaft

Rear drive hub and dogbone rusty

Hex nut no pin

Another stuck ballbearing 

Steering arm very steeve the 2 shaft rust inside.

Almost dry up

Inside axle case still have 2 more gear

Rear gear box no greese 

Finally the stuck ballbearing remove, the shaft realy rusty.

This the 2 speed shaft, ballbearing out the pulley press mark.

All parts fuel tank remove the spring too rusty will break.

Both belt in good condition 

Cylinder and liner ok

All engine parts remove 

Full remove

All parts will be wash and remove all rust.

The rust been remove, found one pcs bend need to knock back

All ball head been polish and clean

Parts of the screw remove the rusty and sprsy wd.

Total service

Compression still good. Start up after service use starter box.

Worm few second

Tested on car engine run well

All parts clean

Axle gear full new greese 

Done front axle case

All change to ballbearing from coper bushing 

Done Rear axle case

I add  4 pcs ballbearing on steering arm 

Done the belting, axle

All wheels with ball. The aluminium hex will change later.

2 servo redo the wire, both 2 function

Radio tray parts done. The purple colour gone, leave the aluminium alloy base.

Fuel tank, engine fix.

All service, next final touchup see any parts not fitted. And will start the engine.

The remote given not function. But this receiver ok after test.

For receiver power no more using 4 pcs battery housing. 

Modified a hose into the fuel passage. 

Change the fuel tank cap spring

Add a fuel filter

DIY belt tensional bearing 

DIY sponge for air filter

DIY a carry bar.

Add a turning dice

16/1/2023 change all wheel hex to aluminium 5mm.
